Home for the holidays and podcasting

As the title states, I'm now home for the holidays. I'm currently watching WWE Armageddon on Pay-Per-View and so far this is a great event and I'm enjoying this event very much. Now, if you may or may not know, podcasting is now the latest craze on the internet with every major business, T.V. station, and almost every bolg and website owner having one, I'm thinking about having my own podcast. I currently have everything except a recording program to have my own podcast, plus I'm better at speaking than typing. So hopefully I'll have my own podcast soon. I wish I could talk more, but I do not want to miss anymore of Armageddon, so, I case I don't see you, Happy Holidays.

R.I.P. Eddie

I hate to create another sad blog post but, if you follow professional wrestling as much as I do, you know that Eddie Guerrero was an amazing entertainer both in and outside the ring. Eddie was one of the best fighters I have ever seen and he will be missed. Rest In Peace Eddie "Latino Heat" Guerrero, you will be missed. "Viva la Raza"!

SOX WIN, SOX WIN, SOX WIN!!!!!!!!!!

CHICAGO HAS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR QUITE A WHILE AND FINALLY THE WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP. CHICAGO HAS BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY FOR 88 YEARS AND NOW IT'S TIME TO START CELEBRATING. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE SOX FANS, LIVED OR LIVE IN CHICAGO, REMEMBER THIS DAY. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE ASTROS FANS, LIVED OR LIVE IN HOUSTON, YOU GUYS PUT UP A GOOD FIGHT AND CONGRATULATIONS FOR MAKING IT TO THE WORLD SERIES FOR THE FIRST TIME. SO GOOD JOB ASTROS, CONGRATULATIONS WHITE SOX, YOU BOTH PUT UP A GOOD SERIES THAT WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN, GOD BLESS YOU.

Website,World Series, unexpected DVD's, and new games

First off, if you haven't noticed, I changed the name of the blog so it will never mentions the dead website again (geocities.com/mew345). It was all just a childhood dream coming true for me but it didn't really work out for me no matter how hard I tried, so I'm just keeping with a blog and I also changed my name too as well so I doesn't sound so Pokemon. Anyway the World Series might come to a close if the Chicago White Sox win tonight. But last night was not only heartbreaking for The Astros, it was long. The game was over 5 hours long and it all ended with the Sox winning by 2 in the 14th inning making it one of the longest games in World Series history. Also, not too long ago, I was doing my daily Disney fan website browsing and as soon as I went to ultimatedisney.com I found out about 3 DVD's that I never expected: Gargoyles Season 2 part1, DuckTales Vol. 1, and Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers Vol.1. When I saw these I was in shock, Disney actually remembered these shows? DuckTales and Rescue Rangers will be released on November 8th and Gargoyles will be released on December 6th (I can't wait), Hopefully Hanna-Barbara will release Swat Kats on DVD soon. Finally, with Christmas coming soon, videogame companies are releasing good games almost every week and Microsoft will release the XBOX 360 next month. I recently got Jax X last week and I might do a review soon on it, and on Friday I 'm getting Soul Calibur 3 for the PS2 (hopefully). So anyway, goodbye website, check out the new Disney cartoon DVD's, checkout the new games coming out, and GO SOX!!!

I'm NOT going to WrestleMania and other things

Wow, I'm starting the day off right. I waited by my computer for about 40 minutes to try to get WrestleMania tickets, and they sold out in less than a minute!!! Also I have been writing video game reviews for the school newspaper The Candor, so far I written one for Nintendogs, and I will write one for Burnout: Revenge for the PS2 next week. Also I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Chicago White Sox as they take on the Angels in the ALCS. Other than that, life has been O.K., downloaded the new Disturbed album (legally), made friends, and other things. Also I'm planning to see the new DOOM movie, even though I have a bad feeling about the actual movie being good or true to the game. I also apologize for my mood on the last post. Finally I was hoping to be a part of the Walt Disney World College Program next year but I decided to wait till sping of 2007 to do this. Anyway that's about it and I'll post again sometime soon.

Pray for the fallen.

Ladies and gentlemen for this post on 9/11/05 I like to go in a different direction. Words cannot describe what I'm feeling right now and what I have been feeling for the past 4 years. It seems like just a few days ago I was just a Freshman starting high school when I heard the news about New York over the morning P.A. announcements. Later that day I thought, what if terrorists attacked my school or the building my mother works at, what will I do? Because of today and last weekend with the hurricane I can't think of anything else to say but "wake me up when September ends"-Green Day.

Live from Benedictine University.

Hello once again from Benedictine University, I just got comfortable in my new room with my new computer, T.V., PS2, and a lot of other things. I may do my first Rotten Tomatoes review tomorrow or this labor day weekend on Nintendogs or some other game I never got a chance to review on my former site. Anyway school is going good so far, good classes, new friends, and living on a cool campus. Anyway I got nothing else to say, so keep it real, and see you soon.

New computer, new site, new school.

It was a time of suffering from 6 year-old technology, full of slow processors, slow CD-Drives, and Windows 98! Then from the sky above comes a man or creature with a giant rectangle. I MEAN A NEW LAPTOP COMPUTER. You heard right, I got a new TOSHIBA Satellite laptop not too long ago ready for college. Also about the site..., I'm killing it. The sprite comic didn't work, and writng reviews with Geocities is too time consuming, I'll keep the site up but don't see any updates. From now on my reviews will be on Rottentomatoes.com @rottentomatoes.com/vine/j/Tails45. It's a lot easier than Geocities, and expect the first review soon. Finally I'm getting ready for college, I'm spending this whole week relaxing and shopping untill Friday when I move in. So to sum this up, Geocities dead, rotten tomatoes good, college ready. So untill next time "Pay a man enough and he'll walk barefoot into Hell"- Xanatos, Gargoyles.

All work and no play make MT a dull boy.

Sorry I couldn't update last month (work is leaving me tired everyday). Before I get to my rant about work, I like to finally put the link to my photo album from my vacation a few weeks ago, the link is mew345.myphotoalbum.com, now let me talk about my job. I work on the salesfloor at the Target in Willowbrook (usually in electronics). Throughout the last month I have been working there, I learned that there are a lot of stupid shoppers out there. For example (and this happens everyday) shoppers that open boxes to see a certain item. First off, why do you want to open a box to see an item even though there is a picture of the item on the box? I know you want to see it to believe it, but the picture tells you what you're going to get next to a instruction manual and a possible warranty. Also if a shopper sees an open or poorly closed box will they buy it? NO, because the shopper might think that the item was stolen and that's bad for business. Also if you are caught opening a box, you may be arrested for shoplifting. One more thing, It's also bad for me and the rest of the "Team members" (employees) because some of the items that are put back in the box poorly or removed from the box are sometimes impossible to put back in. So in conclusion, be nice to other shoppers and employees and never open boxes of items, you idiotic bastards!
Also yesterday I saw one of the most idiotic broads in my life. I was just about to begin my shift in electronics and I saw a woman talking on her cell phone with a headset. She also had her child with her who was no older than 4. The problem with what I saw was, the child was not in a cart safety seat nor in her hands the child was running around her and sometimes running a short distance from her and the woman was still talking and it looked liked she was paying very little attention to the child. I couldn't really do anything about it because she might act like a b###h and probably get me fired. Then what I realized was, if the child was stolen it's her fault not mine.
Anyway because of work I can't really do much so I don't know when the next update will be, until then, later.

I'm back.

Came home from vacation yesterday night. I had a great time in Vegas and California. I'm still trying to find a way to show you my pictures so you can see them. I'll keep you posted if I find a way. See ya.

Leaving tomorrow, waiting for job, President's grades

First off, you may recall on the news a few days ago that news reporters revealed the grades that Sen. John Kerry and President George W. Bush recieved in college and they both received a few D grades Freshman year in one of the top colleges in the country and George did better than Kerry. You know what my take on this is? DO WE CARE ABOUT THE GRADES NOW!!!!!! The election was decided over a year ago and we are seeing the college grades now when we don't care about the election anymore, and also it's Freshman year at at very difficult college, they might receive bad grades and everyone gets them. Anyways, I've been waiting for a call from Target for some time now. They said Monday or Tuesday, but no call. Because I'm leaving tomorrow, I need the interview now. So I'm going to Target and asking human resources if I can do the interview now and take the drug test before I leave. Like I said, I'm leaving tomorrow night for Vegas, then the day after I see Blue Man Group and Dennis Miller, I'm driving 4 hours to Disneyland. So I have to go, I probably will not update this week so I'll see you in Vegas and Disneyland.

Graduated, leaving on Friday, and close to getting a job

First off, I didn't take any Star Wars geek pictures (only 3 were in costume), sorry. Also 2 weeks ago was pretty busy for me: 3 days of finals, senior only morning boat cruise followed by seeing Star Wars (again), graduation practice followed by a Chicago Cubs game, and high school graduation followed by a huge party. So last week for me was both fun and tiring. Last week I was just lying around, then the thought hit me, I NEED A JOB!!! I tried GameStop, but they didn't call me back. So I applied to work at Target, and because they were short handed I might get a job there, I just need to go through a formal interview. Also I'm leaving for Vegas and Disneyland on the 10th and I'll be back on the 16th. I'll take plenty of pictures with my new camera and I'll share them after the trip. Also I'll eventually do web links before I go and try to do a review of WarioWare Twisted for the GBA and a comic by the end of the month. See you later (maybe in Vegas or in Disneyland).

The force is strong in me

Okay, today is kinda bitter sweet. I finished my final day in my final month in my final year of high school. All I have to do know is take my finals and graduate and then it's off to college. Currently right now I'm just killing time for a few moments before I leave to go see a midnight showing of the new Star Wars film. Hopefully I can take some pictures of some people dressed as jedi or sith, if I do I'll share them with you. Also by the end of this week, I hope to edit and add web links to the site even though the new links could be disney sites, and maybe a comic. Anyways I have to go in a bit, see you soon.

Sorry, sorry, sorry...

Son of a... I apologize for not updating earlier. It's just that as soon as I came home from London, school starts up again and I have to help put the finishing touches on the musical we had a few weeks ago. Anyways, in my last post I told you that I was at a kiosk in London. What this means is that I was updating on the sidewalk on the streets of London and also worried about pickpockets at the same time (yes they are abundant in London, be careful). Also I had a great time in London, I saw some cool sites, went to Paris for a day, seen some cool musicals and plays, and celebrated my birthday. I would love to go again, but not for a few years. Also not too long ago, my family had just finished planning at least half of our vacation. Not only are we going to Disneyland, but we are also spending 2 nights in Las Vegas celebrating it's 100th birthday. I just found out last weekend that Las Vegas is 100, this means that I'm not just going to one anniversary celebration (Disneyland's 50th is also this year) but TWO, I can't wait. Also I will be graduating next weekend, but I have one more day of school left and then finals, I hate to leave the school I love but college calls (plus my college is only 1 hour away, and I can visit anytime). Also last week, I closed my internet radio show for the last time and now I can write reviews on the website again (yay), also with more time on my hands, I can create new comics (yay). Well I have to go, some of my teachers are giving me last minute work before I leave. "Good-bye and thanks for all the fish." Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

Currently in London

I have to make this quick. I am currently in London till Friday and I am having some fun with the Queen. I will have another update later but now I have to quit before my time on this kiosk is up. Cheers.

I'm going to London in 19 days

We'll this weekend is off to an up and down start. I have a day off from school today to see my school try to win state in girls basketball on T.V. (yet they lost by 3 in the first quarter-final match). I rented a funny Martial Arts movie Kung-Phooey (and it has a scratch in the last few seconds of the film), and I rented Star Fox: Assault for the Nintendo Gamecube (and I beaten the game in a few hours, not 100% though). But with all that, I'm still keeping my "happy face" because I'm going to London, England for my school's Easter break. Also "I'M GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!!", in June or July (I reccommend mid-July because Space Mountain re-opens on July 15, and Space Mountain rocks). I'm also going to Disneyland to celebrate the park's 50th Anniversary (because without Disneyland, Walt Disney World or any other Disney park would not exist). Anyway I hope I can have a "Sprite Cups" episode soon (I'm finnaly going to get Sonic and his friends out of that matrix) . So that's it for me. See ya.

I CAN'T UPDATE A FREAKIN BLOG

WHAT THE HECK!!! I thought this will help me update the site more often. But I have to admit that I have been busy. I participated in 2 bowling tournaments in a period of 2 weeks (yes, I'm a bowler). And my high school did a annual musical comedy revue called "Banua" (I don't know what it really means either) and I have to help work the lights for it, but it was all worth it. So anyways, I don't know when I'll have a new Sprite Cups, but I'll keep this blog posted when it comes out. And that's about it for me, see you soon.
